The Belgian Federal Council for Sustainable Development is an advisory body that advises the Belgian federal authorities about the federal policy on sustainable development. The acronym FRDO-CFDD comes from the Dutch Federale Raad voor Duurzame Ontwikkeling and the French Conseil Fédéral du Développement Durable. The FRDO-CFDD working languages are Dutch and French. That's why the FRDO-CFDD web pages are written in these languages.

These English pages only give a general introduction to the Council. Also only a few publications will be made available trough these English webpages.
